Yes, you heard it here first, I’ve been slacking. This post is a note to let you know what’s going on in the world of me, and to give you an idea of what you can look for from SarcasticCrime.com and Sarcastic Crime Talk Radio in the coming weeks.
What’s been happening is that I loaded my plate too full. This is me, admitting that I have more on my plate than I can handle without some serious restructuring going on. Relish in the admission, as you’ll probably never hear those words out of my fingertips again.
What’s been happening is that first, I’ve been working some ridiculous hours at Blogtalkradio.com and it’s not leaving a lot of time leftover for my passions. I’m good with that, as my work schedule always comes first, but coupled with the two shows, the site, the Missing You Foundation, and the holidays rapidly approaching – it’s not real conducive to keeping all of that up seemlessly. My house is trashed, my 5 year old is running around with a big chunk of hair that has been self extracted from the very front part of his head, and my 2 year old is STILL not potty trained. So, I’m restructuring.
Most of you probably don’t know that I’ve started a second show with Texas Bulldog. That is Whiskey Barrel Country, and you can listen to that at www.blogtalkradio.com/whiskey Whiskey Barrel Country is a new show that promotes and showcases the music of new and upcoming country artists. If you aren’t already on our friends list, please go to www.whiskeybarrelcountry.com and add us as a Myspace friend today! Our Myspace is fully interactive, you can volunteer to work with the show, and see what’s going on. Bulldog has a rich, deep Texas drawl, a sarcastic and silly personality, and I think you’ll find that to love and appreciate SarcasticCrime.com goes hand in hand with the personalities clashing at Whiskey Barrel Country.
With Sarcastic Crime Talk Radio the skinny there is that Dan Cottrell, from Internet’s Biggest Conversation and I were having scheduling conflicts that were prohibiting us from getting a regular schedule down for the show. What we have settled on is that I am going to have more than one co-host for the show. The new schedule is as follows:
Monday Nights 9PM EST: I will host the show with Sue Bess, MYF Board President and Acclaimed Spiritual Advisor
Wednesday Nights 9PM EST: I will host the show with Carlton Boehmer, Editor and Chief of the Kellogg Bruin Newspaper, Sarcastic Mind and my little brother.
Saturday Mornings 11:00 AM: I will host the show with Dan Cottrell of IBC for the UK news and to discuss plenty of opinion and headlines.
Tonight, Sue joins me for the discussion on Mary Denise Lands, missing since March 12, 2004 and the inconsistencies in the case, law enforcement and what’s currently going on in the case. Tune in at www.blogtalkradio.com/crime at 9pm to learn more about this case and learn what police corruption looks like from our perspective.
Have a GREAT Monday!
~Shannon
